What is a Scammer
A scammer is someone who steals your furni, accounts or creds, either by tricking you into giving
them, them, or by finding out your password and stealing your account
But don't worry, once you learn the basics,
it is easy to determine what's a scam and what isn’t.
If you keep to the following rules, there is no way
you can be scammed...
* Never trust someone 100%, not all Habbo's are what they say they are.
* You need your
password to access your own Habbo's NEVER tell anyone your password, ANYONE that asks for it is a scammer, the ONLY place
you should ever type it is the 'Check In' Screen
* NEVER change your password or e-mail for anyone.
* NEVER download
ANY program on a site that claims to be anything to do with Habbo, ONLY download programs that are linked to the www.habbohotel.com
home page.
* NEVER accept ANY files over instant messenger such as MSN, AIM and Yahoo.
Never Trust Someone 100%, Not All Habbo's Are What They Say They Are
Habbo is virtual,
as you may have guessed, so this means you don’t actually know who is sitting behind that screen, they could be a scammer
who is pretending to be your friend so they can scam you. I know it is sad, but there are people out there who will do that.
